The most common place for interference to occur within the nervous system is the spine. When one or more of the bones of the spine get misaligned, or get stuck and stop moving, it irritates the spinal cord and the nerves around it. This irritation acts like static and distorts the communication signals connecting the brain and the body. When this happens, our body just doesn’t function the way it’s supposed to. This interference is called a vertebral subluxation. At Sozo Chiropractic, Dr. Alyssa locates this interference and removes it using gentle, specific adjustments of the spine.
